1hdt injector pump compatibility

[​IMG]Is there anywhere on this site that lists the compatibility of the various pump models that may fit my engine? I have a 1hdt, denso pump 762 lots of numbers on the plate also. Which are the relevant numbers that need to match before I can tell if an alternative pump will fit my engine?

RHD BJ73 delete cluctch booster

My 1985 RHD BJ73 (JDM) has a vacuum clutch booster, which is stuffed - master cylinder has leaked extensively through it. I got a replacement used booster from a wreckers but it doesn't fit, cleaned the stuffed booster up and have it currently installed with a new master cylinder, basically acting as a connecting rod from the clutch pedal... anyway I'm happy with the clutch feel with the non-functional booster, and am looking at a turbo install, with the 13BT manifold the turbo would be very...

Can't seem to even see where my thero wax is. ANY pics of what I am looking for to delete would be
great!!!!! I have searched and have not found the info that I want to make this delete happen..
Where is everyone getting the delete kits for this problem.. IS Radd Cruisers still selling this
kit?? Want to get this done so I don't run into a IP problem. THIS ACSD sounds like it sould be

Importing to California, bad news??

Hello, I have been reading the importing threads trying to gather information in order to import a diesel cruiser from Costa Rica into California. Most of the threads say 25 yr or older no problem, use an importer, etc. Now I have read that one can no longer register these vehicles in California, true? Did the rules change? Any options? Thanks in advance.

2 battery BJ70 starter only has 12V?

I have a Canada spec BJ70 with 3B 24V start/12V everything else.

I'm only getting 12V to the starter.

Does anyone know if there's a switch that controls power to the starter? Like a series/parallel switch? I know turbo diesel 80 series use them.

Or perhaps my batteries are connected incorrectly? Currently each battery has its own ground at the battery tray, and on the engine block, and the positive wire from the secondary battery is attached to the positive terminal on the primary...

Hi all,

My first post on these forums.

I've been looking at getting a Cruiser for a while after seeing and driving them around Film & TV sets over the years. 70 series are usually the weapon of choice and I was very close to getting a BJ70 with a 3F engine. The LJ78 I've ended up buying had just had a price drop however and having test drove one earlier in the year that had a 1UZ swap I knew there is potential to build them up.

Hi all, I have searched the forums and please redirect me if there is an answer out there already! I have an FJ60 with an Isuzu diesel swap (4BD1-T). After several years and maybe 20K miles, I would guess I have averaged 17 mpg. I have seen other posters here, as well as the PO, say that they get 20 mpg or more. I did not change anything from the PO's set up--I still have the 35's, didn't mess with the pump, same exhaust, etc., and the PO and I both drive basically like middle-aged men not...

HDJ-81 Auto to Manual conversion?

In my heart of hearts I'd like a manual in my RHD JDM 81. Which transmission did Toyota put in the manual HDJ-81s? Would a conversion to manual be much work? (I know sourcing parts would be a bit more challenging here in CA.) Finally, I think I read somewhere that the manual trans rigs have a lower final gear ratio. What kind of RPMs are you turning at highway speeds? (I realize that's tire-dependent to some degree.)

Have you used the 1HZ injectors from these AU guys on ebay, United Fuel Injection? They have great reviews.

They specify the following PNs and for HZJ75 and HZJ80s. Most of us swappers have motors from these models anyways.

They also claim all of their internal parts, nozzles etc, are Denso and also specify "Denso" genuine in the ad. The only thing which isn't Toyota OEM is the external housing, maybe they machined their own housing and use all...

This seems like a basic question, but the manual does not seem to show it and I can't find anything in the threads, but exactly what does it take to remove the pump? Engine is still in the truck, and I have no intention of pulling it. Radiator, battery, air filter and other components are removed for access. Thanks in advance.

12ht oil filter loose

So I have had an oil leak for a month or so. Nothing serious. I did an oil change and found the oil filter loose. Not like it was gonna fall off but had no resistance when I removed it. Which was kinda nice becuase is so so easy to get off haha..

But when I removed it the piece that the oil filter screws into the came off with the filter. Sorry I don't know the correct term for it.. it's theaded on both ends. It was pretty tight on the filter needed a wrench to remove it.

The HJ61 with the 12H-T does not come with an intercooler from the factory. We were going to build one fr our HJ61VX. If you are interested in a intercooler to upgrade your HJ61, Please post up. If there is enough interest we may turn it into a kit.

Rig: 1980 BJ41, 24V.

I have a 24V Battery Tender that I am going to hook up today.

This one: 022-0158-1

The tender has 1 positive and 1 negative alligator clip lead.

Would someone be kind enough to tell me which battery terminals I should connect the tender to on my 2 12V batteries?

I'm thinking the positive to "A" and the negative to "D", but before I blow myself to the moon, I...

Morning all-I had started a thread on this build in the general tech thread, but now that I'm getting a better idea of the challenges, most of them involve the OM617. I should mention that I have no experience with this motor, and inherited the 1/2 finished project as a pile of unlabeled, disorganized boxes. This is going to be tough as I am not a great mechanic, have minimal tools and limited budget... and am clearly in over my head!

If any of the moderators want to merge the threads...
